米軍から払い下げられた船の整備、回航の世話をはじめ3週間が経ちました。

ニュージーランド人のたくましく優しいエンジニア２人と、たくさんの荷物を小さな車に詰め込んでスタート！

３weeks have passed since I started supporting vessels sold by US Army. With strong and charming 2 Kiwi engineers and full of their belongings in my small car!

多くの人に助けられながら、来月のバヌアツへの回航に向け準備しています。

Appreciated many people's kindness , we are preparing for departure for Vanuatu.

　クルーから、お願いしたいことがあると古い時計を渡されました。３０年近く前にJICAからもらったSEIKOの時計でとても大切にしているので、日本でオーバーホールしたいとのこと。横浜市港南区の杉浦時計店様が親身に相談に乗ってくれ、滞在中には間に合わないが、完成後バヌアツに送ることになりました。世界を旅する船員さんは着く港でそれぞれやりたい事があります。「Homeport」はその思いを大切にしていきたいと思っています。どうかこのSEIKOの時計が再び輝きますように。

An old watch was passed me by crew. It was a gift from JICA（Japan International Cooperation Agency）30years ago and precious for him. He wants to overhaul it in Japan. Unfortunately, the overhaul cannot be completed during his stay in Japan, and I will send it to his home with my responsibility.

Crew cruising around the world have their own things they want to do at each port. I love each crew's will.
